Now I finally moved from the world of 3GPP to a new technology.
As many of you already noticed, I joined Sigma Designs in Copenhagen, which deals with Z-Wave, a wireless standard for home automation.
The decision was hard as I was working in 3GPP technology from beginning of my career (Starting from Nov 15 2004). Back then when I started; I had the privilege to work with UMTS. Then I worked with HADPA, HSUPA, LTE, LTE-Advanced and finally VoLTE. I like the idea of change and learning new technologies.
And, I also have some ideas of working with an Internet of Things company in the past.
So, when I got a job offer from Sigma designs, I happily said YES!!!
So what is new?
I just started some 1 and ½ weeks back and just starting with the new terminologies and jargons about Z-Wave. Everything is new and I am going with the flow. I will keep updating about the new things.
What will happen to 3gLTEInfo?
Like many of you, I had the same question in mind from last few weeks. What will happen to all those things I have learnt over the years and especially to 3gLTEInfo?
But after much thinking, I concluded that I will still keep on updating the website with new updates from 3GPP, this way I will be in touch with the 3GPP world forever.
By updating 3gLTEInfo, I will keep on learning all new updates from mobile world. Although, now I will have less amount of information when it comes real hand on experience. But that does not mean I will stop reading specs and books.
Like a wise man once said:
Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.
I will keep learning and updating 3gLTE Info with new updates. Keep in Touch !!!
